Performance
Every trim of the RAV4 is powered by a 2.5-liter 203-hp four-cylinder engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, as is an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is also available, but it's optional. As for its fuel economy, the EPA estimates that front-wheel-drive models get around 35 mpg combined, while all-wheel-drive models get about 32 mpg combined.
Technology
Throughout its six trims, drivers will find that the RAV4 has copious features. Lower trims have an eight-inch touchscreen, but the Limited and the TRD Off-Road get a 10.5-inch display. The infotainment system features a 4G LTE mobile hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capability. Additionally, there are features like a JBL premium audio system, navigation, and a wireless charging pad, but these are optional.
Safety
The RAV4 boasts an array of standard driver assist features like automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
